Why I PMC
Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues,
After riding PMC from Wellesley to P-Town in 2024 with Team PTC (Parlor, Tidemark, Clearhaven) I decided to register for PMC Unpaved and to make the push toward $100K lifetime fundraising. I continue to ride in memory of Kirby Green Grochal who lost her battle with cancer in May 2023.
PMC Unpaved is a gravel grinder in Western Massachusetts that runs through the Berkshires in a beautiful yet greuling course.
I participated in the inaugural PMC Unpaved October In addition to the classic 192 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown. The event is smaller and logistically simpler. The route is shorter but it makes up for all of that with pretty big elevation gain. 52 Miles and 5,500 feet of climbing (Which is 1,300 more than traditional PMC Day 1 at 110 Miles) Check out the link for a great video recap by my great friend Justin Schroth.
