Kristin Williford's PMC Unpaved
Why I PMC
As many of you know, I lost my mom to cancer when she was only 55 years old. I did the PMC in 2004 in honor of her. Unfortunately once again cancer has impacted my family. My niece Karen was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2022. She has received amazing care through the Jimmy fund, which is the children's cancer center affiliated with Dana Farber. This is an incredible institution. We are so grateful that she was quickly referred to Boston. The entire team of doctors, nurses, social workers and staff are amazing. Thanks to their treatment and expertise Karen finished chemo in May. She is back to school and finally able to be a teenager again.
Please help me to raise funds for this institution in loving memory of my mom, Karen, and in support of my niece, Karen.
I'm a proud participant in PMC Unpaved, a gravel bike ride over the scenic backroads of the Berkshires in western Massachusetts to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund. PMC Unpaved - a spoke in the wheel of the Pan-Mass Challenge's yearly fundraising campaign - is October 4, 2025.
This fall, I will be riding and fundraising to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer. 100 percent of all rider-raised funds go directly to innovative cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber, one of the world's premier cancer centers dedicated to advancing cancer research and care.
Please help me reach my goal - every donation makes a difference.
