Update: June 24
I am heartbroken to share that Jeff passed away on June 22 after a heroic battle with pancreatic cancer. In my head, I knew this day would come but my heart wasn't ready for the news & it absolutely crushed me. However, I take great comfort & peace in knowing he left a mark on so many lives as a coach, professor and athlete. He is missed. The love of his life, his wife Tammy, penned an incredible tribute to Jeff on his Instagram account. Read her tribute here: https://www.instagram.com/p/C8nS3DlPgoT
Thank you to those who have already contributed to my PMC Unpaved ride. I am so grateful for your support as I raise much needed funds for Dana Farber, where Jeff spent his final weeks participating in a clinical trial. If you haven't contributed yet, I hope you will consider a donation to support my ride, and to raise much needed funds in memory of the legendary Jeff Godin.

This September, I'm riding PMC Unpaved, a gravel bike ride over the scenic backroads of the Berkshires in western Massachusetts to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund.
This is my second year riding in honor of Jeff Godin, my coach for the last 12 years. Jeff is an accomplished ultra endurance and spartan athlete, an endurance and strength & conditioning coach, and Head of Performance & Sports Science at Fitchburg State University. He takes great joy in and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and deep experience with his students and athletes, for whom he is also an unwavering cheerleader and supporter.
In the fall of 2022, Jeff was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has heroically battled this terrible disease with countless rounds of chemotherapy & additional treatments all the while teaching, racing a few Spartan events, climbing mountains and helping me stay on track.
Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference and 100% of the funds donated are directed to Dana Farber to help understand and treat this horrible disease so that amazing & inspiring people like Jeff can live long & healthy lives.
