Why I PMC
I was proud to take part in the first PMC Unpaved in October of 2022. This fall, I will be riding again and fundraising to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer. 100 percent of all rider-raised funds go directly to innovative cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber, one of the world's premier cancer centers dedicated to advancing cancer research and care.
This is an extension of my commitment to be part of the goal to eliminate cancer in my lifetime. Like the summertime ride, I will be part of a large group of riders who, rather than riding to the eastern most part of Massachusetts will be riding to one of the westernmost. So far west we will be in New York for part of the ride.
I do this in memory of the family, friends and co-workers that I have lost to cancer but just as important, to honor those who are fighting and those who have beaten cancer.
Please help me reach my goal - every donation makes a difference. My commitment to participate in this event is to raise $4,000. I hope to exceed that and with your help I will.
