I'm a proud participant in PMC Unpaved, an off-road cycling fundraiser to support Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and The Jimmy Fund. The third PMC Unpaved - a spoke in the wheel of the Pan-Mass Challenge's yearly fundraising campaign - is September 28, 2024.
I've ridden this event twice and it was an amazing experience both times.
This fall, I will once again be riding and fundraising to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer. 100 percent of all rider-raised funds go directly to innovative cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber, one of the world's premier cancer centers dedicated to advancing cancer research and care.
Please help me reach my goal - every donation makes a difference.
As with so many of us, cancer has touched my life personally. My wife and mother are breast cancer survivors. It's because of places like Dana-Farber that we celebrate their survival from cancers that would have been deadly not so long ago.
Sadly, since last year's ride my uncle Ronnie passed away from pancreatic cancer. There's still so much more for us to learn and so many more lives to save.
Any small amount you can donate matters. Every dime can help ensure the next survivor.
